Got a couple of Christmas cards today. One from Jane, a Rudolph and Santa picture on front. Don't you sometimes wish they were real? Thank you girl.
The other was from Blue. I,also got some hot pads and agree that they are too pretty too use. I'll have to hang them somewhere. Thank you for thinking of me.

Well I got my 3 batches of cookies done. Not real happy with the sugar cookies so I may make another batch tomorrow when I make pumpkin pie.

Granny, you worry the daylights out of me. Hope you are watching your sodium intake. and good advice about getting those feet up.

I have to admit I missed doing the card exchange this year but there was just so much going on with running back and forth to the hospital for testing and was so stressed by all of it that I just had to cut back on other things. Hopefully next year.

Got the report from the hospital of my endoscopy and biopsies. I'm going to live. I won't enjoy eating much but hey, eat to live not live to eat. three months of testing and thank God, no bit C found. Just inflammation. Prayers are answered.

That's tough... you will have to think about everything you eat, but very glad it isn't worse. I take eating for granted... cast iron stomach, but I have significantly changed my diet this past year. Cut out all grains and most other starches and sugar. Lost 50 lbs without really trying other than that. I have cake and cookie envy. Very tempting!

Very disappointing about your salami. Beef prices have gone up lately. We eat a lot of chicken and I try to get fish once a week or more. It's crab season now... they were puny and very $$ so we passed. So sad. I used to always make cioppino (chippino) this time of year. Fisherman's stew. Lot of traditions getting skipped this year. I'm glad we at least did the Christmas cards!
