Granny's gone and done it again

No, they took one xray. The dentist put a temporary sealing over my infected tooth that he says needs a root canal. No cleaning done yet, and i was there for hours. I still don't have my antibiotics. Another tooth needs a crown, and three teeth need fillings. It's ridiculous!
Oh no!

I too have spent hours in the dentist chair...I had to take a break half way through...

Just seeing this because cherry replied. We have a serious thing going on right now. When we use the garbage disposal upstairs, it is causing the downstairs kitchen sink to flood..with food particles in it. 🥴. Well, this happened just a few years back. Got a brand new garbage disposal, worked for the problem. Surely we aren't ready for another one already. How long are those things supposed to work? The one that was here when we moved in worked fine for years.
It sounds more like a clog. If you can get to one of the cleanouts near the sink, you can either snake the pipe or use an expandable clog blaster on the end of a garden hose. I have an assortment of sizes for this purpose.

We went to visit my great uncle today. He was happy but kept saying stupid stuff. Dimensia I guess. At first he though Mom was a kid. Then he thought she was pregnant. She is 40 some years old and has three kids. Pretty sure she is not. Then he was sure he was 74. Trish (his ex wife that he is staying with) could prove it. He is 94. Then he was talking about me getting married. The other day he took the clock off the wall. He loves when we come to visit. At least he wasnt crying this time. One thing he did today really made me laugh, other than him going on about a new baby. He got up from his chair and Trish asked why he was getting up. He answered her saying because he could. He then got up and Trish asked him where he was going. He said he had not figured that out yet. And we brought him cookies. Trish's dog is diabetic. He ALMOST gave that dog a chocolate chip cookie. It was a close call. Night y'all!
Yes sadly, sounds like that old familiar tune to, a type of dementia. :(

I'm showing this to me son! He has an appointment for a plumber, but they're all busy until Jan. Has an appointment on the 3rd. In the meantime, poor guy is emptying the sink down there every now and again. I'm guessing plumbers are busy with broken pipes with this cold weather. :(. Thanks Ron. :)

Back from the dentist, thought that little boy goat might die, but when i got back home he drank what i had left from giving it to him by dropper...from a bottle. And he's ready for more! Going to go milk Socks in a few minutes.
I got one filling done, and a cleaning on one side of my mouth. They're weird. I had that work done, after i got there at 11:00. Got a few things at Walmart, got gas ($2.71), and grabbed a burger at Wendy's. Stopped at the pharmacy, headed straight home from there. So that shot most of the day. Hubby put up a bit of fencing and a couple gates so the goats can go down to the pasture when ready. And still be fenced in.

Before you snake or take pipes apart, try this. Early in the morning when your pipes are dry, pour a half cup or so of baking soda down the downstairs drain that does not have the disposal in it. Then pour about a cup of vinegar down after it. Plain white vinegar is fine. It will make a very satisfying "bomb" that may well clear the clog, and won't hurt your pipes. Let it work its way down for a while, then follow it down with some hot water, flushing well. Then if necessary, do the same with upstairs drain.
