These are the new chickens! Theres Marshmallow, Festia, Luna, Tulip, Grammy, Skittles, and Coal-A.

The buff hen, Tulip, is a very interesting mix. Do you know what she is?

They are definitely big! I wonder if people with hunting licenses ever...you know. No cases of them attacking though. Most people here are smart enough to stay away from them.

Our neighbor goes boar hunting. He makes sausages from the meat. Has to buy fat to add to make a decent sausage.
Boar hunting is very common in CA. The last dog my mom got was an unsocialized, very large Rhodesian Ridgeback that needed a home. It was either mom take her on or the dog was going to be used for boar hunting. Mom took her and Tasha turned out to be a good dog.

I didn't. Fell back asleep. Most I've slept in a long time. Then hubs and I made a grocery run. He's out cutting up the tree now. I'm supposed to be doing dishes, but I'm here instead.
