I remember doing this. Bummer.I am getting 7 eggs a day. Tossing them due to the annual deworming. About half the flock is molting still. I think I read somewhere that good layers have a long and slow molt.
Are you dosing individually by weight?I have had people tell me albendazole and fenbendazole are similar, but even the dosage proves them wrong....I just might. But first, I need to do my research to see if anyone has even done it before. The second dose will be given tomorrow, to 21 birds. If I do conduct it, I will keep a record of everything.
I would love a bonfire. Unfortunately around here it might get you arrested. Or lynched! We all have wildfire PTSD.We do bonfires at times. We have so many dead pine trees and limbs that fall down.
What kind of wood? That sounds like a cord. A rank is 4'h x 8'w x 16"d, stove length only. I paid $45 for that the other day, stacked neatly in my yard. Some people just dump it in your yard, others charge the same amount and you come get it.
Mine have blood specks sometimes.not worth the $ IMO a couple had blood spots. I served them anyway. Just a lil speck.
Yes I did.I think it is sundown farms? One of the owners used to be on the Pita Pinta thread.
I ordered pita pinta negra eggs.
It is funny the mis information out there! It is going to wind up being like Basque hens I fear-- I do not think anyone has them any more.
Did you see the person that wanted a color chart for mixing roja with negra? Oh My!
What type of thread?A thread could be educational/ informative, however it turns out.
ya but these were $7.00 a dozen. The yolks were ok but not a ton of difference in looks or taste as the $1.00 a dozen areMine have blood specks sometimes.
Umm..hmmm...a rick?when I first moved here I had a couple people tell me I needed a rick for the fireplace. I honestly thought I needed to find someone named Rick and went on a search for this person that will bring me wood.
