I dont have side air bags so no worries there.

I'm going: Crested Cream Legbar (instead of EE) and French Black Copper Marans pullets, 4 of each (I think), and 8 Cornish cross cockerels. I think. I'm culling my 8 EEs, they are 3 years old and I think they are pretty much done laying. At what age do you rotate out your older layers, Twist?

lately I haven't because the coons keep "thinning out" the flock. I usually do them around 4 or so. Last time I tried just taking the worst looking ones and kept getting ones full of eggs.

Oh I don't care if they are full of eggs. I want to process them before they start having health issues so we can eat them. Don't want to eat no sick or dying birds.
