Morning all,
On my FB memories from 7 yrs ago:
my dog frosty is nuts. she had me terrified out of my mind last night. I woke up at 3:30 with her in my face growling . she got as close to my head as she could and was barking as loud as possible and growling like she was ready to kill. I have not heard this part of her before. My son comes to check on me and by this point i just know someone has broke in through the bathroom windows. so he talks to her, turns the lights on, nothing to be found but she wont stop ! half an hr. of this. I found the courage to get up and see who or what she was going after. There it was, in my bed !! The new shirt i had bought and hadnt put away.

Oh Granny! I thought there was going to be a snake next to your pillow!

I have no hopes on catching up two weeks worth. It has been insane. Currently waiting at urgent care cause my asthma has been real angry as of late.

Sorry guys I am on day 2 of a low-grade migraine, Since I get migraines all the time I usually work through them. This one is the ache that just moves and makes thinking or doing anything hard. The plan for this week is JIC is to get the pallet fencing done.

Once the fencing is finished I plan to work on coops.

Oh, and as an added bonus I get to go pick up my vehicle this week. The shop told us that if the parts are in by Monday they should have the repairs finished by Wednesday.

Booo migraines!!

Can't take any of the meds for them. I am medication sensitive. I am the 1 in a billion people who have to avoid most medications for things.

Normally just sleep is the best cure for this. I just learned to live with them. As the one specialist doctor put it, if I am mentioning pain most people would be in the fetal position crying in the corner.

It sucks to be me, but it is also why I have little to no tolerance for cry babies. I have a very high tolerance for pain. My normal cramps hit 120 on the contraction meter for contractions.

How….do they measure that? My cramps aren’t the worst part of mine anymore - they were when I was younger though. Now it’s just the migraine of brain fog, mild ache, no energy and puke. I’ve never had them diagnosed such, I just figure that’s what they are.

Doc gave me some prednisone and generic ventolin. Well, mine expired back in may 2020 sooo….yeah. It’s been improving today so when I finally got in he couldn’t hear much wheezing. (Still had the tightness though). Am under orders to go get my blood pressure checked again in 2-3 weeks, can’t remember what it was but the nurse was commenting it was high. Well yeah. Can’t breathe yo. Stresses you out.

Goose did good for being home alone until 4:30. No accidents or tomfoolery. (I’m usually home by 1, 2 at the latest so this was the longest he was home alone.)

I didn’t know we had so many rock hounds here! Last summer we went to hot springs for a week and stayed in an Airbnb with a creek running through it. The water was ice cold but the kids were in it all day. I got in as much as I could stand.

We hunted rocks and I let the kids bring home as much as they wanted. We also went to the diamond crater one day, but they didn’t have the patience for it. I was having a great time.

Here are our favorite treasures. When I find them as I unpack, we can revisit them.
