Granny I used to take care of memory impaired people, either dementias or Alzheimer's. I don't know how many times I had their kids come up to me crying because they were scared that they had early cognitive impairment because they were forgetting things.

I would ask them if they were losing their car keys? They would tell me yes, all the time. I would ask them if they were finding them. They said Yes. I asked them that if once they found them did they know what they were for? They said of course! I need them to start my car! At that point I would hug them and tell them they were fine. Just stressed.

Both of my parents had multi infarct dementia.

I get lost easy and cant remember their 3 words. Sometimes I put the milk in the cupboard. I forget dates. ages, simple stuff like that. Nothing terrible. I never once forgot to eat.
