Aww, poor Kitty! I wanted to leave the oven on but my family said that was mean. I wouldn't have put in on Broil!

It's good that you didn't heat up the stove for your kitty. It wasn't a good, easy, or inexpensive experience for anyone, two or four-legged. Poor Clancy blistered his front paws pretty badly and 3rd-degree scorched the back ones. The vet said it was because he used the back ones to launch himself off the hot surface. He was SO good about treatment. We couldn't keep bandages on his feet and we weren't supposed to use salve. He would actually lay in our laps while we held frozen pads to his paws. Clancy had to stay inside until the tissue sloughed and healed. We kept him on cool, tiled surfaces and used folded newspapers in his litter box for almost two months. He was a house/farm cat whose main goal in life was to make life miserable for the barn swallows, so he was NOT a happy kitty during his convalescence. Still, he was an awesome boy, even before his misadventure. I do love me a ginger kitty!

Next to finish unloading feed from the truck and load up gear for the swap tomorrow.
How is everyone today? I am tired, my friend kept sending me messages because she got shipped chicks and they were dying. I helped her figure it out. But was up to 4:30. Ugh

Some made it into backup, but I might be missing some photos. Oh and I have very bad memory, so I keep forgetting which password is which. Probably would have been smart if I wrote them on paper, instead of directly on my phone.

Like seriously, who forgets their apple ID pass??
