Granny's gone and done it again

Well.

Hubs had a bad night last night. So I ran to the store this am to get him more meal replacement drinks and other soft stuff. And advil. See if that helps him more than Tylenol.

Got home, put stuff on the counter…sat down and found/ordered me this.

Don’t tell hubs.

I’m not anticipating it to be a well built quality piece of furniture at that price point but free delivery plus I bloody well need storage in the kitchen means it’ll serve its purpose for a few years until I figure out something better.

He knows I’ve been plotting something for a while there have just been too many other things taking our money first. And yes. With his tooth issues there’s going to be more things too but honestly. F it. I need a more functional kitchen and that’s hard to do when I have crap for cabinet space and a need to keep things stocked.

Don’t mind my mug in the shots. He’s not a mama’s boy at all now is he?

I laugh at how calm he is when delivery people come to the door. He just sits. Watches. Wags the tail. He’s so good. View attachment 3023585View attachment 3023586View attachment 3023587
Oh thank you, Star, this is exactly what I've been looking for too! I need about six of these on my back porch but I will have to buy one at a time at that price. But ... first I have to rip up the peeling lino off the floor and put a new floor down. And this is why we love Da Goose Dog! ❤🥰

Oh I don’t know if I’d use that outside. I am pretty sure it’s just particle board after all!
Yeah, won't the strawbs taste funny?
Apparently not. The internet says they’re companion plant besties.

Mini is the same way, she can be laying outside on the porch. She just lays there when a delivery truck shows up. Doesn't even bark.

So poor hubs. He got the one tooth out and now the one on the other side is back to bugging him. Sigh.

Made some baked tater soup and blended the heck out of it with the immersion blender but he’s not eating right now :/ well, leftovers tomorrow.

I’ll have to pick up some more meal replacement shakes. Hey, I wonder if Costco Carrie’s decent ones?

I think he’s freaking out about it. It’s gonna be a few weeks before he can get in to the dentist for the real check up etc. - like April. And then from there he’ll need to see an oral surgeon for a few things. Sigh. Friends don’t ignore your oral hygiene.
Oral jell doesn't help? :(
