Just cleaned the pig pen. They didn't make it easy. Who knew one could get muddy in their own home???

Hammie got another bath today (again with the heat). I will be going in during dinner time and conditioning her. Also washed Christina and brushed her hair. No milking training today. Too hot. Excited about tomorrow's ear tagging. Currently trying to break a broody hen....she is an eager one. No snakes today too.

I have been working on getting a messy barn straightened up to make room for a bit of woodworking. I have done a bit of rockhounding, not a lot of success with that. Took a nephew antler shed hunting, we both found one. Gotta keep hay in the barn for the goats and the horses. We have sold over 100 chickens in the last two months, mostly at auction. I've been watching/reading the comments on here and getting plenty of laughs. Ya'all often make my day. I'm not the chatty type unless I see you face to face, then I'll talk until you're tired of hearing my voice. I'm on here multiple times a day, I just don't comment a lot.

You must have a huge farm! It sounds like you have been having the perfect days to me. How sweet to take your nephew out like that. Do you use the horns for anything in particular?
I really miss my chickens and going to the swaps. I wont go. Too much temptation.

This is from last summer. It's a rose bush I got for my wife 15 years ago. It has survived being moved three times. We always take it with us wherever we move too.

I like to mount them on pretty boards for coat hangers and such.
