Alley, if you ever get the chance to meet up with granny, do it. She is such a wonderful person, I feel so blessed to be able to call her my friend. I so wish I was only 2 hrs away from her.

Oh I will! She reminds me of my mom's side of the family. We're are probably distantly related lol

Say there chickenlady are your Icelandic different then your sweedish ?? And how are they for egg size and production?? It seems that most of my Delawars are still in that "almost" large stage.

hi, the other chicks will pick it and possible pull his guts out. They are attached to that til it closes.  I dont know how long it will take . Im guessing a couple more days.  No house chicken for me, I have enough to do. LOL 

Hi hun, is it anything you can snip off now that it has turned black & dried up? It definitely would be better for him to be with the other littles as soon as possible so as not to be looked at as an outsider and picked on by all.

The Icelandic are very different from the swedish flower. The Ice lay a medium sized white egg, least mine do

They don't like being confined either & I can't free range anymore because the the troubles with bobcat attacks.
