It’s been a draining week. Lost a very special chicken. No wounds, nothing visibly wrong with her, no symptoms prior to death. Too attached to do a necropsy so I buried her by the big oak.

Essay went great, but I have two MORE essays to write. One is for 4H, the other is an English portfolio. Classes are coming to a wrap, so been busy with that. Haven’t seen chickentrains lately.

Getting ready to harvest some stuff. Here’s the spinach. My mom is trying to find ways to prevent bugs from eating the leaves. We have covers on the beds, but it doesn’t prevent little bugs from nibbling.

Yeah, I should probably go work on them now. The 4H one should go by quick, only a minimum of 2 pages and doesn’t need to be in MLA format.
