I miss my chickens a lot too Cynthia but not so much in the winter. Im not gonna say I will never have any again but the odds are against it.

Tom snuck out to the barn while we were gone the other day. I told him if he needed to go out there to at least do it while we were home. He said he knew I wouldnt let him go is why he did that.

Made me feel bad when he said I wouldnt let him. I guess I am controlling but I worry. I told him he could go just make sure Im home first. I never told him he couldnt go I just offered to do it for him.

You're not controlling, you're a caregiver, but you don't tell him that. My guess is, he knows you're taking good care of him.
