I think you were right... it's a weasel of some sort with that golden throat and belly. Probably a long tailed weasel.

Stoat/ermine have white bellies and aren't usually out during the day.

It's a great picture! I've only seen one weasel, very young looking. The chest color was super bright... almost orange. It was in a used car lot of all places. We got a quick look and then it was gone. Poof!

I was not a happy camper w/o coffee . Toms DD bought me a new coffee pot. supposed to be here Monday. It has a filter to remove calcium and fluoride. Hopefully it will last longer with my hard water and I wont have to wait Another 45 mins for it to get done.
The foxes ignore the dogs and now the dogs are ignoring them. Before Bandit would raise cain and they would ignore them.

Yup, they are getting used to you and your routines. You all are just part of their scenery. As long as they aren't bothering the dogs, I think it's cool to have them around. Just think of all the mice they are munching! Leave the coop door open so they can clean it out for you!

they can get in there thru the pop door I think. I just told Robert we must have a lot of mice out there. Im still scared to go out there. I have turned into a wuss.

My Nancy invited me to dinner and a movie next Sunday with her sister and 2 GDs. I dont know if I will go or not. She called today to tell me how good my soup was.

It sounds like fun. Would you have trouble sitting through a movie? My knees always get stiff.

It doesn't get cold enough where I live for them to get a winter coat. I would love to see one in the wild.

ohh I never thought of that. Im not sure. I had a hard time here today sitting with my legs hanging down. Tom got me a kitchen chair so I could prop them up

Well I read a bit on here. I'm whining again, but..this has been one of my worst days yet. It started yesterday afternoon..felt like I was going to pass out when I put my head back. Last night, left side laying down, this time... spinning. I'm always asked if the room is spinning when I go to a specialist. No. Woozy. I'm woozy. Off balance at times. Well this was pretty bad. Figured it was another loose crystal. I tried doing the Epley manuever. Didn't work. Kids are gone. Funeral. I messaged a daughter, she was out of town. Messaged another. She's a nurse. Came right over. She helped me try another Epley. Didn't help. Off to the clinic. Open for emergencies. This Dr. also did the Epley. He agrees something going on with my left ear right now. But, also listened to me, and could see my past visits in there. He says, I want you to go to UVU hospital. They have good specialists there. I will look for one for you. Better specialists up there than here in Utah County. It's in Salt Lake City. An hour drive. Not good for me..I said I was done with them..but he may be into something. I couldn't even watch t.v. today as I was taking it easy. Just sat up to nap. Used my phone. So thankful for good kids to help. And this daughter is the one that just lost her dog the other day. Yes, she cried while talking about what happened..she went out for 30 mins..came home, found her gone. You have to know how much she loves her dogs. Mastiffs. She lost one to cancer last year. They're not sure what happened to this girl. She did have some surgery about a month and a half ago in her leg. Maybe a clot..who knows. Bless her heart. Staying home because she's having a hard time, but comes right over. I gave her lots of hugs. I feel a bit better after resty all day. Hoping for a better day tomorrow. Doc said I could keep doing the Epley. I think I've got it down after having had it done three times today. Sorry.. another book.
