Daughter's DH headed for surgery. He's had a series of strokes, they think due to constricted blood vessels in his spine or something like that. He's a veteran. Thoughts & prayers appreciated!

Absolutely. They were butchered Monday, going in the freezer tomorrow. Unless I cook one tomorrow. The other four are going to Mrs W tomorrow (my butcher). They're suffering a bit from this heat. At seven weeks, one weighed just under 4#.

So we just dropped The Kid off in the St Louis area for a summer of selling Christian literature with some other young people from his church school. We won't see him again till the end of July. Will miss him, but it will be good for him. His first real job! And he won't spend the summer lying on his back playing video games, so yay!
