Granny's gone and done it again

So we just dropped The Kid off in the St Louis area for a summer of selling Christian literature with some other young people from his church school. We won't see him again till the end of July. Will miss him, but it will be good for him. His first real job! And he won't spend the summer lying on his back playing video games, so yay!

Great! I used to work summers at fairs, making and selling food.

Today i vacuumed the main floor, washed pots, swept, wiped counters and stove. Then picked peas and pulled weeds. Fed weeds to young goat.

So now that i told my "friend" that i won't be coming up her way for swaps, i have not heard from her in days. She used to message me several times a day. I guess she just wanted to get what she could from me in labor etc. Makes me sad.

Sorry for your sake and sorrier for her sake. She could have gotten and kept a great friend with having done good in return. It's always sad when relationships deteriorate.

welp, I mowed where the dogs go. That was it but its a start. So hot and muggy out there. Robert came out with his pea shooter and kept an eye on me. No foxes today. At least I didnt see them. New blades were pretty nice too.

On better note got lobster tail on sale so gonna cook that plus homemade pizza
