Feeling very tired today. Did go out and put up a piece of plywood on the original coop. Put lots of shavings in there. Plan to put chickens in there tonight. The heat is draining my low supply of energy.

Now it’s my turn with the birthday role. But hush! Don’t let the moderators know….the birthday under my account is a lie!!! I was old enough to join, just didn’t want to put my real birth day (since I am clearly a weirdo). My mom and sister went and got me a gluten-free cake. It was surprisingly good, though a tad bit sweet. Ate a ton of food and now I’m extremely bloated…well worth it though

Goats are doing great with milking training. Today I was able to feel the baby kid(s) kicking for the very first time, almost as if they timed it or something. I bet they’re going to be so stinkin cute!

Finally got the goat pens and chicken coop slightly cleaned. Still need to pressure wash the chicken coop, but it’s looking much better than it did the week of fair. Still need to butcher the cockerels…yikes, pretty behind on that!

My brother is planning to attend another hackathon in Singapore in Sept. Apparently someone’s willing to pay for the flight and stay for him, so there’s really no reason not to go. He’s definitely become CS obsessed.

My mom took her car to the dealership last week and still hasn't gotten it back yet. First they got the wrong part, then they broke the window when changing the part (like how??), then they had trouble with ordering the new window, and now we have to wait another few days. Really not looking forward to what else they have in store.

Isn’t Medicare part C supplemental insurance to go with Medicare. I do have that but the plans looked at pay for none of my medication I am on.

It won't pay for meds, if you have another insurance. And also, the plan C can be a bit different for everyone. I'm sure glad I got it. Meds are the only thing they don't pay some on.. for me.

Yes, she's going to be 13 in October, I think. Cataracts, losing her hearing. She already had surgery for fatty tumors. I was afraid I might lose her, so that's why we got Sammy, "just in case." Most of the tumors were encapsulated and easy, but she had a pretty extensive and invasive one in front, in her breast tissue that was not so easy to dig out. Dang dogs anyway, I don't know why anyone in their right mind even has pets. (Obviously I am not in my right mind .... , never claimed to be!)

That's one reason why I got Bella. Not sure how long I have with her. :/
