Had a hard time sleeping last night . Sinus drainage and coughing when i laid down. Finally took a few different pills, and drifted off to sleep after daylight this morning. Starting to feel like a vampire, up and around at night.

Well all the weeds that are going to get cut in the paddocks and pasture are DONE. Hoping to go to Custer on Tuesday and pic "her ' up taking Vicki with for many reasons.

She's fun on a trip, keeps me awake, I trust her to drive. And , She needs a break as much as I do.

Well I was going to cut some second growth alphaha this week but chance of stroms, tures thru thurs SO that's on hold at the moment. Will be a "pilot car" for a guy who is going to weld up the one squeeze chute and then I will have him take a look at the thing I want to turn into a bale wagon and get his opinion. HE is only going to charge me 40 bucks travel time and then 50 an hours for welding.

Road trip! I can go on a field trip to collect fossils in Alabama, but i woukd be away too long with all of these chickens. Ugh. They need to go. The market for poultry sucks right now due to time of year and expensive feed. Still have a goat to sell.

The pups eyes are open/opening and a couple have figured out how to get over the mini-wall separating the bedroom from the rest of the whelping box. Star had figured out how to get back over the wall and where she belongs. The other one just raises hell until a "Giant hand from above" rescues him

My younger son is coming to visit in late october, it will be nice to see them!

Litter is registered with AKC now to list the 3 males for sale on line. On of them has "wonky" toes NOT sure what to do /charge for him I will try for pics latter. So far it doesn't seem to slow him down.

Another hot, overcast day here in VA. We really need rain. I should water everything. Then it will rain for sure.
