Twist, those squash plants are filling up my refrigerator! Just like any other squash, the more we pick the more we get! We took a bag of about 8 to church last week and again yesterday to give away, and DH took a bunch to work with him. One of his coworkers said they cut them crosswise and grilled them and liked them just fine! One plant grew up real tall, about 3' high and just fell over tonight from the fruit but is still going strong. No squash bugs as we planted thrm late.

glad you are getting enough and sharing the "wealth" with other's. Yaks love the excess Z squash and the chickens get the yellow cukes.

I make beans at least twice a month, in the crock pot. Pinto beans, four cups dry. We love beans here. Make taco salad without meat, call 'em haystacks.
