I'm sorry Cap. I can't give advice, but I just want to say that people will be people. For the majority of my life, my dad has been that way. Self-absorbed and ironically quite friendly toward outsiders. Others can't and don't see life at home. Only we know the life behind closed doors, the life that is hidden, and the life that's often more real. It's up to you to decide your breaking point, and your boundaries. Don't let him step all over you. You certainly don't deserve it! I can't understand marriages, but I understand the concept of people being people. YOU have feelings too, and they deserve to be heard. I don't know everything, or your circumstances, but I do know that life is much better when you are respected and seen.
