We never put our suitcases on the bed, for one. We don't put our clothing on it either. That way if there are bedbugs they can't migrate into our stuff to be carried home. We put our pyjamas into a plastic bag, then take it home and wash it, and it goes into the dryer on hot.

Oh no! Sorry to hear. Hope they took action quick enough. We are not putting feeders out this year. We only fed hummingbirds, on the opposite side of the house from where the chickens are.

Well I don't want wild birds bringing AI around my flock, so that's why I'm not putting feeders out. Maybe they don't want sick birds being around healthy ones? Like sick kids contaminating healthy ones in crowded schools? It's very contagious.
