Well I don't want wild birds bringing AI around my flock, so that's why I'm not putting feeders out. Maybe they don't want sick birds being around healthy ones? Like sick kids contaminating healthy ones in crowded schools? It's very contagious.

I figure i am better feeding wild birds away from the chicken area, so they are not trying to get chicken feed.
