Granny's gone and done it again

I'm not really sure. He was tearing around the yard as usual, and must have twisted his foot. Came back limping. It doesn't seem serious... limp goes away with a bit of rest. Hard part is keeping him resting when it doesn't hurt to prevent reinjuring. Puppies are nutty!

:fl Don't give up!

The sugar causes so many problems. It took me a few months, but once I kicked the habit, I felt better and lost weight. Any simple carbohydrate counts as sugar. Your body processes it the same way.
Sounds like you have some things going on that are bigger than sugar, but it would be worth trying. Hope you get some answers and feel better.
Thanks Wishing!

Hi all. Letting you know I'm still around. I have a med that seems to be helping now. I've had some, better days at least. My Occipital Neuralgia is bugging me. Lower head pain. Heat helps thank goodness. I got to read some, can't read it all. My eyes don't do too well with even the light of my phone. I see that Nancy is doing ok though, after her surgery. That's awesome! Cap, you need to take it easy. H2O..you too.. Granny..you too..Blue, you too. What's up with this getting der thing anyway? Interesting how we can just go with the flow..well most of the time. Our bodies let us know when we should slow down, so we should! Take it easy everyone. I'll try and get on again tonight. Miss ya!!

Yes. Complex carbs are much better, like whole grains, seeds, nuts, legumes. Avoid white, refined carbs. You get used to them. There are whole-grain pastas, for example, and low-sugar options for pasta sauces.
I gave up all the starches too, so no pasta, rice, bread, taters, etc. I miss taters more than the others.

He's growing so fast, @Wishing4Wings! I had a Newfie pup in one of my classes that favored a foreleg one night but when we checked his foot we couldn't find anything. Had him and his owner sit out and watch that class. Following week, same thing, started out fine but after a bit he started pulling up lame again. I advised a vet visit and glad I did. Mac the Newf had dysplasia in both front shoulders. Lucky the owner's DH was a doctor and they could afford corrective surgery. Hopfully nothing like that in Pi but do keep an eye on him. Hope it's something minor that resolves quickly.
Thanks for the info. It's definitely his foot. He licks at it when it hurts. No swelling or heat though. It's probably soft tissue which requires rest. Hard to keep a restless puppy resting. If it's not better in a couple of weeks, I'll take him for a check up.
We went for a walk this afternoon. Everything went okay while on the leash. I just need to keep him from running... but it's it's his favorite thing!
