Her scar is a good 6 inchs. Probably longer.

I'm still amazed that they can open up a person like that. Scar is not important compared to living a longer life.

opening them up isnt as bad as what they do once there. They saw the ribs so they can open them and stop the heart and put them on a machine that circulates their blood. Its a brutal surgery IMO.

A lot of trauma. Anesthsia makes it possible, but all that is is bringing you closer to death and then back again. I imagine she's on pain killers now?

Me too! I've been hearing that certain diets work for this VM. I'm seriously considering going back on the keto. Hearing good things about it helping, with a great side effect.. weight loss of course.
