Well, not going to daughter's for Thanksgiving after all. Jeff has Covid.. again. Both times his driving buddy has given it to him.. he drives truck.. diesel. Close proximity for those two in there.

My son with Spina Bifida just offered to come and cook for me..us. Just the two of us. My kitchen is big enough for him to get around. Yaay..

40 here, Blue! I'm goin for a walk in the woods. Will have to wear hunter orange but hey, the sun is out and I've been cooped up for a week.

Let the chickens out this morning for the first time in 4 days. I had to fight the urge to 'flap my wings and run around' like they did.

Today it was cool and windy. Hanging out in the house, with the wood stove going. Then i went out to feed the goats, and discovered that it wasn't quite as cold as i thought if i was in the sun. I put another coat of paint on the plywood i painted yesterday, for Mel the goat's new shelter.
Then i went and got the stapler and stapled plastic feed bags over the windows of a play house the extra roosters roost in at night. And hung their feeder up under the playhouse, which is up on a stand. I have tarps up on the run, but i think this will make them more comfortable.
