Happy Day Before Thanksgiving Day.

Don't work too hard, everybody. I've got the meat out thawing. Going to be peeling apples for homemade applesauce and doing something different this year. DH said he didn't want pumpkin pie this year. Come up with something different so I did some recipe searching and came up with pumpkin bundt cake with maple glaze. Going to make that later today so I can keep the taste tester out of it.

are you making it all from scratch? Im not sure Ive ever had a home made cake.

Howdy all, I'm going to be making Oatmeal Peanutbutter Chocolate chip cookies. We will be taking them along to a family Thanksgiving get together. I'm hoping to make six-ish dozen.

are you making it all from scratch? Im not sure Ive ever had a home made cake.

I found a recipe from scratch but I was a little leary about trying it incase it didn't turn out good. The one I settled on is made from a Betty Crocker yellow cake mix that you add pumpkin and spices to.

Only cakes I make from scratch are my Mom's Sour Cream Chocolate cake and a One Egg White Cake that I make. The first will feed a family, the other is a one pan recipe.

I may try the from scratch recipe later and see how it turns out.
