Granny's gone and done it again

Disappointing day. I woke up at the alarm, but fell back to sleep. Eventually got to the lab where i was supposed to get my labs drawn. Closed. Sigh. So i didn't have to go to town after all.
I went to Builders Discount and looked at flooring. Nothing too exciting.

Our habitat for humanity is permanently closed. I thought mayb3 5hey moved but I just looked them up.

Tail looks too long for a bobcat, and too many spots for a lynx. Could be a crossbreed between them.

Could be. I didn't think we had Lynx in MO but just looked it up. They can be around the later part of the year. Breed description says tail is 6 inches on Bob Cats

People have been seen a lot of Bobbies in the forest around us and in the creek bed. We looked back on other pics from our game camera and yep, we have seen him before but thought it was a small yote.

We had a great time with sibling and in laws. Enjoyed three meals together and some snacking. Got mostly caught up with each other and had a really good time just enjoying each other. No politics which is somewhat unusual, but very enjoyable not getting into them. We had a smallish turkey, baked green beans with cheese and a topping of browned butter and crackers, homemade stuffing, fresh mashed potatoes with brown gravy and a broccoli salad.
Desserts were pumpkin and apple pie, the cookies I made along with mixed fruit which consisted of pineapple, pears, red raspberries, green and red grapes, blueberries and apples in an orange/pineapple juice slightly thickened.
We are back home safe and sound with a great Thanksgiving experience. Truly a reason to be thankful for family to peacefully get together with.

Neighbor and I were out walking Pi this afternoon. He found something particularly sniff-worthy, so we paused a bit and I noticed an Amazon delivery box up on the slope in the ivy. It was unopened and clean... can't have been there long, and the address was a mile down the road from us. We looked up the name and address and got a phone number. Neighbor called him and later he came for his package. She said he was very nice and knew one of the old timers I knew as a kid that settled this area. But you know what she didn't find out? What was in the box!!! I was resigned to not knowing how or why it got dumped in our neighborhood, but I had hoped a little curiosity about what is was would be satisfied. humph

Well, I have some good news. My brakes are fixed!
It is driving really nice. SD and SIL came and put new pads on and cleaned the rotors up. He said the calipers are ok. They still havent fixed their car but took a chance.
My big coffee pot just took a crap. The one SD ordered. Its not that old either. I have a small pot that holds 4 cups which means one cup for me. Its going to keep us hopping. Its a waste of coffee really for that pot but its going to have to do.

That makes me feel better, I can only imagine how it makes you feel. Mighty good of them to risk making the trip.
