@microchick Dr said there are like 4 glands in the eye and Roberts has some kind of bacteria in them. Said the eye that is bothering him is worse but they both have it. Gave him some kind of wipe to use.
Does he shower on a regular basis. ? I take baths and don’t really scrub my eyes

No he doesnt.
I think this is what it is.
Your eyes need lubrication and moisture to function properly. Small glands in the eyelids known as meibomian glands secrete oil that covers and protects the surface of your eye. If these glands malfunction they may become inflamed or produce an excessive amount of oil. This condition is known as meibomianitis, or posterior blepharitis.

Well it's raining now and likely all night. The goats are all outside, the kids will be under the lean-to. The adult goats should be under the hay shelter but idk for sure as they have not been there for a while. I plan to go out after rhis show and check them. Then be sure they can get in the goat house.

I think you are right. Maybe hot shower on his eyes to get them unblocked.

But you know chickens try to hide being sick. Does she have droopy wings?
🤔 Hadn't noticed, what would that mean? What I really notice is how WHITE her legs are. Almost ghostly white. Nobody else has legs like that. I put her outside today to get some exercise. She had to use her wings a bit (flapping) to walk, her legs are still weak. She was still sitting some but also walking some, more as the day went on. Nobody pecked her, they came to greet her. Rojo asked if she was interested but she sat down and he took that as a no and left her alone.

The pup enjoys sleeping in front of the stove on a rainy damp evening when it’s 34 degrees outside. ( real feel is 18 ) They are primarily outside dogs, but we like to bring them inside periodically. They are penned inside the barn at night until we think they are old enough to defend themselves against any fox or coyotes that might come prowling for something to eat.View attachment 3350014
Sure have to be watchful. A couple of days ago a man about thirty miles north of me lost a Shetland pony and a full size horse in one night to a pack of wild dogs that's been reported roving the area for a while now. They don't eat anything, just kill.
