Granny's gone and done it again

they did away with that about a month ago Pro, and stuff is spreading. Cant tell Robert that. He insists the mask dont work. He refuses to wear them. He says his autism stops him from being able to.
Handy excuse.

Well i don't feel like doing much. But i need to keep hubby happy, so i will do some cleaning up. Mel has escaped from his pen yesterday and again today. I am getting tired of it. Need to finish cleaning out the goat house and finish building his new place. As if i have the energy. The curtain rod holders came today. Now to make curtains.

Finally was able to read back a few pages and catch up on things.

@CapricornFarm, I felt like that yesterday. Woke up feeling exhausted. Just couldn't stay awake. DH and I like to sit in rocking chairs that we have in front of our fire place and enjoy morning coffee on cold mornings and I kept nodding off. Moved to the sofa and the same thing happened. Bless him, my husband knows I have bad days and is always on me to take it easy when I don't feel well. So he knows if I am riding the sofa I am not feeling well.

Then in the afternoon I started having colon pain again. I swear guys, I get so discouraged. I know I have IBS with C, diverticular disease, chronic gastritis and probably chronic gastritis. Doctor says I need to eat a lot of fiber but if I do then the colitis seems to flare up. It's like I can't win. It's a constant balancing act that takes away the enjoyment of a good meal at times.

Then my regular doc tells me to maintain my weight which is just about where I want it at 120, only step my calories up to 1400. This man has forgotten that I am an active 69 year old. I looked it up and for an active 70 year old to maintain a weight of 120 I need between 1600 and 1800 calories per day. Crap and I wonder why I'm still losing weight,

@Granny Hatchet anytime you think you are dealing with a foreign body in the eye first rule, don't rub it. Second rule if you have Refresh eye drops or liquid tears or even contact lens moisturizer (NOT the type with the red lid on them) 0n hand liberally squirt them into the affected eye to rinse it out. You have to make sure you get under the eye lids with it. You can even use cool water if that is all you have in a measuring cup and trickle that into the eye. The idea is to wash out anything that shouldn't be there.

If the discomfort continues then there is either irritation from rubbing the eye, the foreign body is still there or there is something imbedded in the eye that needs a doctor's attention. Sometimes conjunctivitis can cause a foreign body sensation in the eye. Eye moisturizer drops will sooth it till you can get medicated treatment for it.

We never made appointments for that. When a patient called us with a possible foreign body I told them we wanted them in the office NOW. No excuses NOW. They always came right in.

Masks? We are still wearing them. Plan to go on wearing them. Also carrying around a bottle of hand sanitizer when we have to go out.

I still remember being in the ER last year and the nurse taking care of me saying "I just wish people would wear the D****d masks. We would be seeing less sick people if they did"
