My dad smoked from 15-30 yrs old. Quit cold turkey. I was too young to remember if he got cranky, but I bet mom was thrilled when he had a trip! (he was a pilot)

I started at 9 yrs.
I used to love sundays when Tom would go bowling with his sons. He would be gone all day and I would get into all kinds of stuff. Once I went to big lots and bought a gallon of marine paint of all things. It was winter. That was the shiniest stinking kitchen I ever seen. had to keep the doors open and heat blasting for a couple days. Another time I ripped the carpet out of the kitchen and painted the floor. It was oak tongue in groove. It went right through the cracks and into the basement where he kept all his CB radios .
