Granny's gone and done it again

I would say! Especially this one. ❤View attachment 3364468
That was my favorite and the one I was thinking of.
I didnt post that one. :(
I know!
I just cant see whats there. Its all too little.
Take your chromebook to a shop that sells them and ask the geekiest looking person to show you how to see the pictures.

Nancy said my picture files may be full and Im thinking about just having her erase them all. I cant see them there anyway.
Don't erase all your history. Do you still have the camera?

My mother's veil caught on fire during the wedding reception! Dad put it out with his hands.
That almost happened to me! Little too breezy.

Jan.3rd and Robert got a tick. He was walking up to the mail box. Crazy.
I had a tick on new year's day... on my back. :hmm Sis got it out for me. Pi had one on Dec 30. I took both up to the county testing facility today. $36 per tick to tell me if either has Lyme. Cheaper than a vet visit! The young woman who helped me said that there is not a lot of the disease in our county, they are under 3% positive, but since Scooter had an active case a couple years ago, testing is smart. I'm less freaked out hearing how low the pos rates are. They will call on Thurs afternoon if either test positive.

(My grandmothers never drank coffee, they were both devout Mormons. )

From facebook

My grandmother always drank her coffee like this! I thought it was because it was too hot.
Do you remember older generations drinking from their saucer? Then today I came across this poem that made me feel there was symbolism to the coffee ritual.
Drinking from My Saucer
by John Paul Moore
I’ve never made a fortune and it’s probably too late now.
But I don’t worry about that much, I’m happy anyhow.
And as I go along life’s way, I’m reaping better than I sowed.
I’m drinking from my saucer, ‘Cause my cup has overflowed.
I don’t have a lot of riches, and sometimes the going’s tough.
But I’ve got loved ones around me, and that makes me rich enough.
I thank God for his blessings, and the mercies He’s bestowed.
I’m drinking from my saucer, ’Cause my cup has overflowed.
I remember times when things went wrong, my faith wore somewhat thin.
But all at once the dark clouds broke, and the sun peeped through again.
So God, help me not to gripe about the tough rows that I’ve hoed.
I’m drinking from my saucer, ‘Cause my cup has overflowed.
If God gives me strength and courage, when the way grows steep and rough.
I’ll not ask for other blessings, I’m already blessed enough.
And may I never be too busy, to help others bear their loads.
Then I’ll keep drinking from my saucer, ‘Cause my cup has overflowed.

About above post. My grandmothers never drank coffee. They were good Mormons. I found this on Facebook.
I have seen people drinking from the saucer in a couple of old movies. Can't remember much, but I'm thinking they were old British films.

The whole cup or just what was spilled in the saucer. Good way to remember how blessed we really are.

My Gma did, she said because it was too hot and it cooled faster this way. Remember they had to boil their coffee.
