Granny's gone and done it again

I've gone to the ER a few times when my heart was acting up. I've had two heart ablations..
didn't stop the arrhythmia. They check me out, send me home. Well, a couple of times they'vekept me. Once..Hiking down a trail years ago I started having chest pain. I had forgotten to take my nitro with me..got back to the motor home and used it. It stopped the chest pain, but that stuff gives you instant headache. Scott took me. Anyway, because it worked stopping the pain they kept me. Sent me home next day. Once they did an echo. Looked good. I carry the nitro with me..just in case. They're pretty sure its my esophagus giving me those false heart attack symptoms. No chest pain the last couple of days. My BP is back to normal this evening. :)
Yeah, I know how scary it can be.

I have P.A.T. Paroxysmal Atrial Tachycardia. I can be sitting and my heart rate will go up to 150 like switching on a light, stay like that for a half minute, then like switching off the light, it will go back to a normal speed of maybe 80 per minute. Leaves me feeling like I had a work out without leaving my chair. They were able to control mine with beta blockers. I've been on them for almost 45 years now.

Have they ever done a gastric endoscopy on you? When they did mine in 2021 the doctor said I had inflammation in my lower esophagus from GERD and a small hiatal hernia. Sometimes feels like heart palpitations but if I swallow something or belch the sensation goes away.

It's truly amazing the tricks your body can play on you. Either way I'm glad you are feeling better today and things have settled down for you.

Hi guys. Bad day yesterday. Day before it was 60 degrees outside. Yesterday woke up to 32. I swear every joint, every muscle, every fingernail hurt. Even my hair hurt sort of day and nothing seemed to really help ease it off, not even tramadol.

I spent the day grumbling at everyone and everything. I did manage to get to the feed store. I'm sure helping load and unload the van didn't help my cause any. I feel better this morning. Some back pain but not as bad as it was yesterday.

Then last night was the final insult. I figured a long hot shower would help ease off the soreness, got in the shower, started lathering my hair and suddenly....no hot water. Well crap. We have an on demand hot water heater that we run off of 20 pound lp tanks. No plumbing for an lp tank outside. Our home is Amish built and we keep procrastinating as we would love to build a new home out on a hill in our pasture. The house now is solid built but has a lot of deficiencies that would basically take rebuilding it to correct. While the previous owner was a truly talented and gifted carpenter when it came to doing cabinetry and specialized moldings and wood work, he sucked at building homes.

When we considered how to simply run hot water to the bathroom and kitchen DH suggested we do like they do in Europe and run the on demand water heaters. It's pretty convenient but they depend on the smaller tanks unless we decide to run the plumbing and install a big LP tank....which is on the to do list but way down the list.

We keep hoping a straight line wind will lift the roof so we can get that dream house up on the hill, lol.

So I didn't get my hot shower. Quickly rinsed my hair with cold water and made a beeline out of the shower. The end of a not so good day.

But today is better. Pain is less, It's still cold but hey, it's winter! DH has an appointment in the morning at 7:30 to get the tanks filled at the MFA oil depot. Hot water on the stove so we are roughing it for a day.
Yikes, MC, no fun! Made me hurt just to read this.

Glad your day is better. We can be thankful for the better days. I've decided I want a...Nancy. :)
Me two! ❤️ Be sure and tell her how popular she is around here and how much we envy you for having her!

Sounds like it was very sudden. Does she have other children besides the neice that called you?
the niece that called was from a different sister. She had 2 boys but one preceded her in death
