Granny's gone and done it again

Yeah, I know how scary it can be.

I have P.A.T. Paroxysmal Atrial Tachycardia. I can be sitting and my heart rate will go up to 150 like switching on a light, stay like that for a half minute, then like switching off the light, it will go back to a normal speed of maybe 80 per minute. Leaves me feeling like I had a work out without leaving my chair. They were able to control mine with beta blockers. I've been on them for almost 45 years now.

Have they ever done a gastric endoscopy on you? When they did mine in 2021 the doctor said I had inflammation in my lower esophagus from GERD and a small hiatal hernia. Sometimes feels like heart palpitations but if I swallow something or belch the sensation goes away.

It's truly amazing the tricks your body can play on you. Either way I'm glad you are feeling better today and things have settled down for you.
Yes I have had a couple in my lifetime. Things look good. What happens is my esophagus tightens. Causes chest pain, jaw pain, pain down the arm.

I have 3 left. all in Fl.
I just have one sister and a brother left. My brother isn't doing well. He's got diabetes and lately having strokes. So help me..if he dies this year. I had a sister die in 2020, my husband in 2021, then a sister in 2022. If my brother doesn't make it through this year that will make 4 years in a row. And I'll be the one to bury him..like I did my other siblings. Losing family is tough. I really do wish I could give you a hug Granny. 💗

Of my nuclear family, only an older, reclusive sister and my twin brother are left. Mom, Dad, an older brother and older sister are all gone. Twin and I are now the Old Guard, and I tease him that he doesn't like me much, either. He pretends he doesn't, but ... I know better. I saw him at our family gathering in September. He's my bud.
