Granny's gone and done it again

I can't sleep..update..she has a lof of infection. She's being admitted ..possible surgery in the morning.
Very sorry to hear about Taff's struggles. I hope they can help her. Here she is, a NICU nurse, having to give such compassion and care to her tiny helpless patients. That takes a big heart. Praying that she can turn some of her compassion inward for herself and that the drs can help her heal. :hugs

Not sure. You could cover it lightly with some gauze. They use it for burns, and apparently leave the dressing on for several days. There are different formulations, so I would go by the label.
Could he wear shorts instead of pants?
Old age, fragile skin, chopping firewood and other farm tasks... rips up his forearms and the backs of his hands. Takes awhile to heal.
Oh my! Poor guy.
It started years ago. When her mom, Scott's ..my late husband..former wife died of suicide. She's my stepdaughter but these kids are mine. I love them all so much. She took it the hardest when Karlene passed. Bipolaralso. I know it can be genetic. Tavonny..Taff..started being bulimic. Purging, non stop exercising. Through the years ..after having her children..she became anorexic. She got so tiny. Skin and bones. Hospitalized many times like her mom had. At least she knew when she needed help and said, I need to go to the hospital or clinic where she would be for at least a month while they changed meds and had therapy. It was never mentioned why she needed a tube down her throat..but we knew when she said she couldn't keep food down. Her body had become used to that action. The tube....her NG tube kept getting clogged, pulled out, so she had the permanent one placed but it also had a lot of risks and problems associated with it being done. I guess infection being one of them. Sounds like there is a lot of infection. Stomach pain has to be one of the worse pains I've experienced in my life. I can't imagine her pain. She was saying last night how bad it hurt. Bless her heart. She's suffered all of her life. Well, since her teens. She's in her 50's now. Wow. I just shared all of this here. Never anywhere else like this. Guess it's easier with internet friends. Thank you for prayers and thoughts. You all know me by now. I believe it's in God's hands. Not sure yet if they'll do surgery or medication. Not sure what they could do with surgery other than taking it out.
This is so sad. Nobody should have to suffer like this. I hope the doctors can help her. But I know God absolutely can!

Headed to Cape, dr appt. It is cold and raining hard. My appt isn't until 1 pm but we are going to look for a shoe store and then go to the Good Feet store. Got to do something, I can't go on being so crippled and in pain.

I have contacted the distributor for Invisible Fence, they are going to come give me an estimate next Monday. I've got to keep Sammy home. He keeps going over to SIL house and messing with her dogs. She used to encourage it. Not good.

the shots didnt help?

Morning all, Ive been up for a couple hrs. Just moving pretty slow. Yeast is probably the worst Ive ever had it. Its in all the places. Back is sore but nothing I cant live with. I am still in my night clothes. Dont think I will get dressed today. No plans anyway. Im snuggled up with my fuzzy blanket in my sucker chair. I hate to call it that because its not very comfy. Maybe soon I will be getting my lift chair. Makes me feel very old waiting on that.

For maybe a day and a half.
PT didn't help either. But we just left the shoe store and I'm very hopeful! These shoes feel very good. They are Tevas. Also got a pair of New Balance. The Tevas are kind of ugly, I will wear them at home. The NB will be for town. They feel pretty good too. Oh to be able to walk upright and not hobbling like a shriveled up old crone! :wee
