I got mine on the side of my foot, below the ankle bone. I think it was on the outside of my foot. The pain is primarily in the heel of my foot, so the shot was very near the pain.they tried shots on SD too. They put them right between her toes.
Amen. Ain't nothin' easy sometimes.Sounds like a lot of us are struggling in some way or another. God bless us all.
Good news on the shoes. I had Tevas in my 20-30s, the sandals with the rubbery sole. Good arch support, so comfy for me. I guess they make shoes now? Maybe I should go look. I really need to get out more!PT didn't help either. But we just left the shoe store and I'm very hopeful! These shoes feel very good. They are Tevas. Also got a pair of New Balance. The Tevas are kind of ugly, I will wear them at home. The NB will be for town. They feel pretty good too. Oh to be able to walk upright and not hobbling like a shriveled up old crone!![]()
Do you have any powder-corn starch-whatever? Seems like keeping it dry helps keep it in check... at least a little.Morning all, Ive been up for a couple hrs. Just moving pretty slow. Yeast is probably the worst Ive ever had it. Its in all the places. Back is sore but nothing I cant live with. I am still in my night clothes. Dont think I will get dressed today. No plans anyway. Im snuggled up with my fuzzy blanket in my sucker chair. I hate to call it that because its not very comfy. Maybe soon I will be getting my lift chair. Makes me feel very old waiting on that.
That does sound hopeful. Amen about the pain meds.Got an update she sent....Looks like infection pockets all along the tube line that have to be drained and the intestine is trying to digest the tube so that needs to hopefully just be fixed with radiology... Morphine Q4 and antibiotics q6 or something... Oxygen and lots of waiting... But at least they are taking care of me-----This message makes me feel better because she sounds hopeful. Thank the heavens for pain meds.
yes, I always have it. I try to keep my body cold and I take meds to stop me from sweating. My left breast is so swollen I cant reach things.Do you have any powder-corn starch-whatever? Seems like keeping it dry helps keep it in check... at least a little.
You don't usually get this during the winter, do you? Maybe from stress?
