I'm actually keeping some in the closet. I am only having them go part way into the closet with the new. Won't see it when closet doors are closed. But I'll see it when I open them.

It really is a pretty carpet, and ... so antique, or at least ... I can't think of the word. Retro, but that's not right either. Anyway, it must have been beautiful when new!

Yeah, some people forget BYC is supposed to be family friendly. I have reported threads like this in the past but then I get jumped on for being overly sensitive so Ima just keep out of there now. It's too bad, it used to be pretty funny.

I have a bad habit of gauging my humor so 100% if too mature just tell me I grew up with military parents so my humor can be warp.

OMG I am so impressed! She is super talented. Lucky girl. I can usually never find a bag or purse that I like. I so seldom go anywhere that I hate spending a lot of money on one. Would be so nice to be able to make my own.

I've been spending my spare time learning how to use a beading loom to make chokers and decorative bead work. Trust me, it's harder than it looks especially with arthritic fingers. I have so many art projects in on the table right now that I'll be busy through the next year if I'm lucky. I made a pair of pucker toed moccasins to wear around the house. I've discovered that with bone spurs mocks are about the only shoes that I can wear indoors that don't hurt my feet.

Morning all. Woke up to snow. SURPRISE! Weather man screwed it up again. They were calling for rain mixed with snow this morning with no appreciable accumulation now it's 3-4 inches in our area. I imagine my nets over my runs are on the ground again. Sigh. I take them down when they are calling for more than an inch of snow. Didn't

My husband talked to a man who is a retired engineer at a local tv station. He said he always got a kick out of working with the weather men and women. It is the only job he said where you get paid an outrageous salary for being wrong 50% of the time.
