Oh! Not sure if I told y'all this... we have decided to hatch a dozen or so blue/ green eggs from our EE. We only have one rooster now, Big Red (Rojo), so any pullets we hatch should be Olive Eggers. The Man wants to raise them to egg-laying age to see if I'm right and then do it again and sell OE chicks NEXT year, sigh. He is SOO from the Show Me state! I just want to trust the genetics and sell the chicks as OEs shortly after hatch. What say you-all? Will they be OEs? He shows all evidence of having only brown egg genes. No white earlobes, no sign of being an EE. He looks like BO except with kind of a modified walnut comb.
