Granny's gone and done it again

He grew up culturally Christian, his father a odd ball being a protestant Mexican american.
Didn't realize that was so odd. :frow I iz a Protestant Mexican American, too! True, most of my extended family is Catholic, more or less (meaning some "more," some "less," but we were raised that way), but one of my cousins and his wife is Adventist as well.

Miss Heny, what motivated you to switch to Judaism?

Yeah, most of the time it Catholic (My nana is part mexican part metis both super Catholic groups) so it abnormal to be protestant, I think his whole family is?

The story of torah and the jewish interpretation of life. The community and overall mentality was welcoming for me, I did grow up Christian but therr was much I disagreed with older I became but still respect those of the faith as long as they are respectful to me. Living in Mississippi that's.... Sometimes hard. :hmm

How's Tom doing, Granny?
He had a bad day today. He got up too early for the nurse then was very nervous while she was here. Kept asking me what kind of paper work I had to do.
Nurse said this was mostly for giving Tom a shower then asked about a DNR. Wanted Tom to sign it so long story short I run her off. Tom said he thought I was trying to put him in a nursing home! Poor guy was shaking like a leaf. I feel terrible for him. I asked him why would he think such a thing? No answer.
