Granny's gone and done it again

Morning. Sold your roo this morning, granny. But Danna has some of his babies! :yesss:

I only asked $5, but I was driving an hour to meet this lady halfway. DH said it wasn't worth it. I felt inclined to agree, but the lady was also driving an hour so I knew she really wanted him. Joke's on us because she loved him so much she have me $20. And she named him Russell Crows. they're a perfect match.

What breed was it ?

Quote: Yes indeed! It seems like another small step forward, I saw that in the Galapagos some Fince species became blood sucking parasites on Boobyies
See this
And of course there are the Shrikes
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lanius

That are both from the passeriformes , but this one took me by surprise completely!
Yes! I've read about the parasitic finches, and we have shrikes here. Seen them go after lizards. I can see how an insectivore could start taking other prey and how a bird that pulls ticks off of animals could intentionally start pulling feathers and eating blood... not a huge leap for these. But, to have a tit kill birds and eat their brains... it's just sinister!

there are only 6 pages on this, You all have a better chance then I do at a 3 month membership.
