Yup, we are under flood advisories for the next 24-48 hours. Again. Not sure about wind. Wish we would get some, though. There is a broken branch up in one of our trees just a-hangin'. You know .. a "widow-maker." I want it to come down!

well, here’s my most recent art piece. I don’t work with blue pens often, but somehow thought parakeets had to be blue. There’s supposed to be a perch but once I got to the feet I was honestly just ready to call it doneView attachment 3420107

Oh! We candled the rest of our eggs tonight. About 14 of them did not have a clear air cell. Instead, there was a dark mass just floating. We called those "floaters" and removed them. Can anyone tell me what those were? Were they infertile? Were they too old when we put them in the incubator? Were they what you call "quitters?" I think today was Day 8 but not sure. On the other eggs, we still can't see veins (blue/green eggs, too dark), but the air cells have drawn down a bit since I first marked them about 3 days ago. Thanks.

Agreed. Sammy didn't like to be touched on the bback part of his body, behind the shoulders, or on his legs or feet when we got him. We've made big progress with him but it's taken some work! We still can't roll him over or rub his belly. We assume he just wasn't handled as a pup or properly socialized. But he has characteristics we really like, so we'll keep working with him.

Robert needs an easy dog.
