Granny's gone and done it again

I took Pi for a couple laps around the neighborhood today. As we were heading home we met a cute young male dog wandering about... small brownish red aussie shepherd with a cleft palette. Then a heard a woman calling for somebody, so we walked the dog toward her house and that's how I met Eileen. Her little dog, Copper, is about the same age as Pi and we let them play a bit in her huge yard. Great to see them having fun, and we will be getting them together again when the weather clears. Will be nice for Pi to have a buddy!

I take it he is good with meeting other dogs.

In fact, I should probably go ahead and order another dozen Cornish game hens from Mt. Healthy to be delivered at the end of April like I did last year. Actually I think I only ordered six, or maybe 8, last year. A dozen would be better.

Just as well if your prognosis is correct, Wishing, my freezer is bereft of chicken at the mo! :lau
We are a bunch of sentimental wimps here. Every chicken has a name...

I am so glad I got those 5 pullet chicks this summer. They are all laying now, mostly what Twist calls peewee eggs, but they still taste goooood. Price of eggs is still ridiculously high here. I just walk right by the egg case in the store, looking at the sad people trying to decide whether to splurge on eggs or skip it. (And those eggs don't taste as good anyway.) We are grateful.
