Granny's gone and done it again

So it was an EF2 tornado ... five fatalities. ... the town of Glenallen was devastated. Not far from us. So.... amazing. We watched that tornado get closer and closer to us on tv. It was red and green. And then the weather man seemed to lose it and it turned into a pink blob with no rotation and curved around us. He seemed puzzled and it was like he was loooking for it ... then the pink blob was north of us and traveling north. We watched it for a while and then my SIL and BIL gathered up their kids and dogs and left. Then we went to bed, I think it was about 3 am. Got up this morning, turned on the news ... that storm had re-formed and caused death and devastation north of us. We are kind of shocked and humbled.
So sad to hear about more death and destruction, but very glad you are well. Rather endure an earthquake than a tornado... terrifying.

Toms BIL passed away today. I only met him once but him and Tom used to be close. I didnt tell Tom yet. He was in bed already.
The wind took out Toms CB antenna . It folded in half. It was pretty scary here for a lil while.
Glad you guys didn't have a twister also. You are supposed to get in the bath tub with a mattress on top... you need a bigger tub!
Sorry about Tom's brother in law. Does he know yet? And how are his legs... any better??

Im pretty frustrated trying to find Robert a dog. It shouldnt be this hard.
It's worth the time, a pretty big decision and hard to reverse. What's that saying... Marry in haste, repent at leisure. And the repent part seems to last longer.
Maybe looking online is something you two could do together. At least you could show him how to look through the local shelters/humane society/pound and which to avoid. He might like looking on his own. I'm really glad he got that adoption fee refunded.

I miss my tub. I should of kept it.
I told him today. He didnt seem all that upset which surprised me. He used to talk about all the fun they had together.
His legs do look better. No scabs are coming off yet .Probably take a long while for that.

Maybe he would get sick of looking like I am! He got his 2nd dog money back too. That came today.
Unfortunately he couldnt het his money back for his holster but the owner did give him store credit.
I seen 2 whippet mixes today for adoption.

Here is our stallion Cosmo, with the goat kid resting on his back. He's really good with the goats.

That's a pretty good idea, Wishing! Granny can't "make" Robert do anything, but this could work. If he's lost confidence in his own judgment, having his mom beside him to guide him could help him gain it back.

Thanks for sharing, Troyer! This is very cool. There is a show that CBS has, I forget the name of it, about unusual animal pals. Maybe you could submit this and have them considered for the program. They sure are cute! :love
