Granny's gone and done it again

The the pup could get it from anywhere. Parvo is all over on the ground. If you do get it take it for a vaccine right away.
I think the puppy will be huge. It looks mastiff like with hound ears. I don’t see any Aussie in it.
Ha, that's what I said, not seeing any Aussie in there.

Well, I would have had my CT scans over with if they had gotten the right place for me scheduled. Got a call yesterday morning - they don't do the heart CT at that place your scheduled at. Ugh. Poor Austin had to get another day off for me. The 21st. Plus, something they didn't tell me. I have to go the day before to pick up a pill to take a couple of hours before the CT. Plus, I have to fast a couple of hours before, I should be OK, I'll have some crackers out in the car when I get done. Plus, no caffeine for 24 hrs. One of my meds has that in it. They didn't tell me any of this before, when they scheduled me, wrong, the first time. Well, Austin had today off so we went to the Temple...he is doing some work for my dad. So excited to get that done. Now to see who can pick up that pill for me the day before. Bronwyn is still on leave with her baby. She'll probably run me over. I'm so blessed to have these kids here! Granny, good luck on your decision for that pup. Positive that I see is, it will be a pretty lovey dog. The activity could go either way if they have the mixes right. A mastiff is pretty laid back. A hound isn't. An Aussie, which I don't see, definitely isn't, and they can be over protective. Here's the, don't want to say negative parts, because that's a sweet little soul right there. Let's say the hard part. h2o has pretty much covered the pup part. Having a dog that large will eat a lot. A good dog food isn't cheap. Plus like I said, the poops will be a lot..and big! This dog will shed. I do agree with I think was wishing, doesn't look like the jowls will be the normal size of the mastiff, so not...as..much drool. There will be sloppy drools after drinking and they usually walk around with it running out of their mouth for a bit. A dog usually takes around 2 years of age to, settle down from the puppy stage. You will have a big lurpy puppy running around the house for a while. My breed, Schnauzers take longer than 2 years. Litte active dogs. All dogs need exercise. I don't mind my dogs running around the house in the morning..they're small. I have a big fenced in back yard for them, and lucky to have a doggy park just down the street from us! Like h2o said, takes time, but it's worth it ..if you have the energy for a puppy. :)

:yuckyuck I mean good post.

Just realize you will be in charge and you will have to tell him what to do. Hopefully the novelty of the the experience will not wear off. Even I question myself when I keep a puppy and realize how much work they are. It is worth it in the long run but it is like having a toddler in the house with sharp teeth. Are you going to be able to take them an obedience class once a week. I think that is very important so he can learn how to train.

I don’t mean to bossy or mean. I am just telling you what I would tell anyone getting a dog or puppy.

Just tell me to stop and I will quit giving you advice
I cherish your advise.
all of you
thank you
