Granny's gone and done it again

It really doesn't seem that long ago that stamps were 34 cents. 25 or 30 years.
Pert, I remember stamps being 10 cents when I was a kid. I thought it was amazing that someone would pick up a letter from our mailbox, take it hundreds of miles, put it in my grandparent's mailbox, and it only cost a dime. What a deal!
I remember because it was also a dime to use a payphone. Dimes were my favorite coins... small and mighty and made the best jingly sounds.

It's starting! SLC is also flooding. Here is a photo of one area in Utah. The roads are collapsing because of water running underneath. Home being evacuated because of sink holes, again because of water running underneath. It's like the runoff is making rivers under the ground..plus, water already running down SLC's roads. It's going to rain all day tomorrow.
