Granny's gone and done it again

We are going to get rain all week.  Usually first rain seems to come on Oct. 31.  Just in tim for soggy trick or treaters.  It's been great getting some rain early like this.  I was getting tired of watering!   Halloween should be clear for once.  So far everything has been soaking in.  Still room for more I think before we get any run off.  I know I am obsessed with rain, but 4+ yrs of drought can do that to a person. 

We are at 8 inches of rain so far for this week...

have you been on a  lot of muddy roads lately  ??    if so check around the wheel wells and underneath   it can get packed with mud which can cause your  truck to shimmy and shake something  terrible. 

Have had that happen with my car before...except replace mud with snow and ice.

It is! But "grass" is a generous description. "Weeds" is more accurate. They started coming up after the very first rain over a week ago. If I can get that started, it will help knock back some of the foxtails which are terrible.
