Man, that's like saying I won't try ice cream! Except those things are savory, not sweet. How about cream cheese, Granny? Sour cream on a baked potato?

I can eat cream cheese right from the package, I don't need a carrier and sour cream with the fixins on a baked potato.

Lol. Don't worry, she won't. But Granny, the flavor profile of yogurt is not much different from sour cream. A lot of people use it in place of sour cream to cut calories. And cottage cheese is not much different from cream cheese except for the lumps. It's salty. It's wonderful in lasagna, a goot substitute for ricotta. I believe it's cheaper.
