I just totaled up our checks and cash and we're at $3300 so far! I'm still expecting a few checks to come in, so we MIGHT clear $4k just in donations! e

My hatchery Welsummers lay a dark egg...well I think they are dark..and they are very sweet girls...
i still think they might be growing spurs though...

My Wellie lays a very dark reddish brown w/ speckles at the beginning, but the color lightens over the season. She is shy but very noisy when she wants out of the run or wants to use a particular nest (that is occupied). Oddly enough, she also has spurs! Is that common in the hatchery chicks?

hahaa, I wish I could still dance in the rain. Maybe if it was very warm and a slow dance I could.
supposed to be a round 2 but think it might miss me. and then, that we have a chance of that bad 4 letter word !

I don't mind being in the rain except for my dumb glasses. I used to wear contacts, but my old eyes are too dry now. Rain water makes your hair really soft too. Supposed to rain tomorrow. I will be out there!

Looks like it'll be a pretty bird! The other bantam has feathered legs also but is black and yellow I think? And the tiny one I'm guessing is OE?
