Granny's gone and done it again

I don't have much motivation. I didn't realize how much time we spent together until she's no longer her. We, my wife and I and a nephew, got together on average twice a week just to spend time with each other, of which I'm very thankful for. No regrets other than wishing we could have spent even more time together on a regular basis.
I have several siblings that avoid us as though we carried a plague.
My brother won't even talk to me. No loss. He's a self centered jerk.

I guess not in california. I pay 81 dollars a month for a supplement ins. Plus what ever they take out of my SS check for Medicare. I guess it is 150 a month. They don’t cover any teeth, eye or hearing aides. Don’t cover most of my medication either
My husband says we paid less for insurance before we got medicare.

Very busy day today. I got home at 11:00 pm, had gone to the doctor at 2:45. After that i got feed, rx, got lunch, got supper. Went to class, then went to Walmart to find hubby a birthday present. He's really hard to buy for.
Tonight i worked on my giant gnome. It is so heavy now i can just lift it. Good thing it comes apart in sections!

That’s exactly what I have. United health care.
United Healthcare is where I found out about the Advantage Plan. They offer all kinds of plans. We finally found an agent that told us about all of them. We got all good docs and dental and eye service in a small Alabama town. We have cardiac care 14 miles away. Our only drive for specialty is 60 miles away for once a year dermatology checkup and not more than twice a year for pulmonary. That's not bad for old folks needing a broad spectrum of healthcare. United has a lot of plans available but all to often the agent has their own wallet in mind instead of the clients is what I believe.

Arthur is 90 years old. He's played golf every day since his retirement 25 years ago. One day he arrives home looking downcast. "That's it," he tells his wife. "I'm giving up golf. My eyesight has become so bad that once I hit the ball I couldn't see where it went."
His wife sympathises and makes him a cup of tea. As they sit down she says, "Why don't you take my brother with you and give it one more try."
"That's no good" sighs Arthur, "your brother's a hundred and three. He can't help."
"He may be a hundred and three", says the wife, "but his eyesight is perfect."
So the next day Arthur heads off to the golf course with his brother-in-law. He tees up, takes a mighty swing and squints down the fairway.
He turns to the brother-in-law and says, "Did you see the ball?"
"Of course I did!" replied the brother-in-law. "I have perfect eyesight".
"Where did it go?" says Arthur.
"I don't remember."

This is what I don't think folks understand, the Advantage plan is part C of Medicare. You still have A and B but add C. I've kept my favorite doc..my primary..also my favorite dentist. I'm now going to a specialist eye dr. because of my Binocular Vision Disorder. I wear Prism glasses now. This plan C paid for everything but 200 dollars. Can't beat that. My regular eye dr said they would cost in thousands. When it comes to hearing they do want me to go to their choice. I didn't have one in the first place so that's OK. No extra money is taken from your SS. You still have the same amount taken from your A and B. In fact, they added to my SS! There are so many good plans with mine. Including a nurse comeing to my home if needed. In the future, a dr. if needed. I have been to the ER, specialists, numerous times ...I've paid nothing. Except..the Neuro eye dr the 200. Its so worth looking into.
