She's home.@Cynthia12 any news?
. Walking like a drunk. She did good. 4 teeth pulled, that makes 8 now. When Bronwyn drove up I saw the outside kennels and said, they probably don't put dogs out here in this heat. There she was!
( and yes, I really did say what the..hay.) Did they say anything to you about her being out there? She's home.. Walking like a drunk. She did good. 4 teeth pulled, that makes 8 now. I went in and asked if that was Gracie outside. The gal up front didn't know, I said it's her. I said it's hot outside, what the hay! I said it loudly. Wasn't her fault, I could hear the vet's voice, it got quiet back there. The gal got up and went to get the things for Gracie. Then I'm told no food or drink until morning. She was out on the shade of the kennels but it's 94 out there. I was worried she might pass from the surgery not heat stroke. She came to me wagging her tail though. She's laying here beside me now. I did let her have a few laps of water, the gal said yes to a tiny bit. Now I have to watch her through the night. It was last year that she wouldn't wake up for several minutes of Austin and myself shaking her to wake up. I honestly think she's going to do ok this time.

You should never have a dog in that heat right after surgery. They can’t regulate their temperature. Esp with her age. She's home.. Walking like a drunk.
