Granny's gone and done it again

good for nothing day. 2 hrs one way to surgeon just to be told his sugar was too high to take the tooth out.
I got out of the van and my leg felt like someone had just poured hot water all over it. I couldnt walk for a long while.
Oh wow that a bummer. How high was it? Wasn’t he fasting for the surgery? Or can you eat before this type?

Wife is still trying to find contact info on the service company we've used before and liked very much. System is like new and we have no idea what could be wrong.
That is such a pain. Suppose to be 109 here this weekend.

Did they reschedule?

91° outside now but duty calls. It's time for all coops to be serviced for water and feed. One of these days I will have continuous filling water devices so I have less to worry about. I installed 3 to test and so far so good. No real problems other than some stubborn hens prefer the 5 gallon fountains that are cumbersome to keep clean and filled. I do worry about a malfunction in this summer heat and a water supply failure. Soon I'll be able to change supply on the go if one fails I'll have a backup in place from our deep well.

Sorry to hear your day was unprofitable, Granny. When will you try again? What's up with your leg, do you think?

This is your first year of having that many chickens?

Yes. I had planned on more but help in building housing is hard to find. I cancelled about a 100 that were on order. Day by day I'm getting to where I need to be. Weather will start to cool some by the middle of August and I'll get more hours a day in myself.
